BSOD randomly. Plus, monitor started "no input detected"

Hello all. I'll explain in as much detail as possible and I thank everyone for their help. I know my way around a computer in terms of basics, but nothing intricate. I got this PC (custom built but nothing serious: my dad put it together 3 years ago and it worked great for him. Before giving it to me he completely cleared the harddrive and bought me an OEM version of Win 7 to install. I've had it for months and had updated everything (drivers, etc).) I'm trying to get him on the phone to fill me in on the part details because they escape my memory for the time being. Onward to the problem.

Couple of days ago when I came home after letting my computer "sleep" it would refuse to come out of its sleep status. I'd force a power down, boot it back up, and at times a bit of text would show, but then the monitor would blink off and say "no input detected." Kept trying to get it back up and every now and then it would work for random amounts of time (no specific games or programs running aside from Firefox.) Sometimes I would get it to boot and then it would blue screen. However the blue screen was so quick I couldnt copy the code: it would just immediately tell me "no input detected."

I found an old monitor (one of those fat E-Machines monitors) and swapped it out. Booted the computer up and it went immediately to a blue screen and held. I will type the code below. By the way, I am typing this from my laptop as I still cannot get back onto the desktop. Here is the code. I will do my best to get the dump files and etc based on the instructions of this forum but so far this is all I can get. Maybe someone will recognize an older fix.

INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x0000003D (0xFFFFF80003FC1120, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF80002A8A30C)

It tells me its dumping physical memory to disk: 90

The only changes I recall making to the PC in recent times (past two weeks) was an updated nvidia driver and a Firefox update. I'll get the PC specs ASAP but is there anything else I can currently try? Thank you all so much!

UPDATE: In an attempt to get the dump files (via instructions in the How to Post topic) I got a new screen after I ran the .exe as an administrator. The new BSOD is as follows:

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

*** STOP: 0x0000001A (0x0000000000041284, 0xFFFFF980092F4001, 0x000000000000379C, 0xFFFFF780C0000000)

It tells me physical memory dump complete.

BTW I am running 8 GB RAM. I figured my memory amount is important to a memory error.

UPDATE:

After restarting and trying to get it going again, a black screen with white text appeared repeatedly telling me: "CD-ROM Found. Checking for file: "ASUS*something*.ROM" FILE NOT FOUND IN CD-ROM!" over and over. Eventually it also told me a certain USB was not found.

**There was a disc on my drive. I removed it so I don't expect this black screen again.

Restarted and got a new BSOD that had no name to it (after running the PC for about 10 minutes). It disappeared too quick for me to write down. It ended up resetting my PC automatically several times in a row.

After this recurring resetting, another (different) BSOD appeared. It is as follows:

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x0000003B (0x00000000C0000005), 0xFFFFF8000C078565, 0xFFFFF88008904, 0x0000000000000000)

No dump was attempted apparently. It's just sitting at this BSOD. I'll have my dad (the one who built the PC) on the phone in 15 to get system specs).

EDIT: System specs updated.

Thank you for your reply.

If you read my post, you'll find that I have attempted to follow the posting rules. However as stated in my original post, I cant even get the desktop to boot and show anything at all let alone get the dump files.

I am doing my best to work with what I can. Any suggestions just from what I've posted so I can at least get a display going (so that I may post the dump files and all other relevant files) would be much appreciated.

My apologies my friend! It's just relatively difficult to diagnose BSOD related issues with the physical dump file(s) itself.

Are you able to actually boot into Safe Mode? If you can, you can boot into Safe Mode with networking and upload the dumps that way. Another question, how can you not get into the dekstop? We can do our best to assist you as well with that issue.

It's quite alright. :)

The only way I can get into the desktop is through my own speed with my hands. 90% of the time the monitor (both of them) will not register any signal input for display. The other 10% of the time I can get to various points of the boot up process (for example, Start Windows Normally or Safe Mode; another part shows my ASUS bootup screen, etc).

There was one point that I was able to get entirely logged on to my PC and I was attempting to download the .exe file for the dump. I almost completed that process in getting it running before I hit another blue screen.

Currently I am trying to get the desktop back up to where I can at least access Safe Mode. The moment I do I will upload the dump ASAP. Thanks! :)

*sigh* I am getting nowhere :(

I thankfully have all my important stuff here on the laptop and I only put an OS on the desktop about 3 months ago.... I think, and I hate to do this, a reformat might be necessary. I had 3 more different BSOD appear as well as some new weird errors happening (non BSOD). Ugh. :(

Understandable my friend, if you're going to reformat, please keep us updated and let us know how things work out. If not, we're still here to assist you to the best of our abilities.

Here's something dumb. The computer has somehow trashed itself so bad that I can't even get the boot disc (I have the OEM disc here) to run. I'm getting one of three errors:

System32/drivers
System32/boot
System32/(something involving kernal)

Ridiculous. I've restarted it with the disc multiple times..... so frustrating and I've been at this since 10:00 AM EST (it's now almost 2 PM!!!). I'm going to take a break and check back later. Thanks for the help now and in the future! :)
