Hi all, I have a laptop using Windows 7 Professional Edition x64, with i5 Processor, 4Gb of RAM, 500Gb HDD, and dual switchable graphic display (Intel HD 3000 and AMD Radeon). I got several BSOD when I logon to my desktop, first is when I opened firefox it come the Bad_Pool_Header BSOD and then the system restarted and when I logon it shows win32k.sys BSOD.
I restart my system and enter safe mode, running the sfc as described in several threads which I read in sevenforums everything is OK (I ran it several times) then I enable the verifier, restart my system normally and I get HIDClass.sys BSOD.

I thought my bluetooth/wifi driver cause the BSOD but I'm not really sure, now I turn off my wifi and bluetooth and the system runs normally. I need help :( I include my SF Test result

Thank you

Welcome aboard.

The last crash is driver verifier enabled, and it shows HIDCLASS.sys as the probable cause.

For the USB ports, first, uninstall and reinstall the USB ports drivers.

  1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
  2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
  3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
  5. Do the same for all.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.
And, Disable USB Selective Suspense too.
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

For the devices, first, detach all the USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
Then, Update the drivers for them all, including the keyboard and mouse, if any third party drivers are installed for them.

Let us know the results.

At this particular point I am out of idea. I need to ask for more help. Wait a bit .... I think some better opinion will be available.

And, you may disable verifier, as it is giving the same results with verifier enabled or disabled.

As a test, remove these two.

  • Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
  • HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Network Card
Update this two:

Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials.
Uninstall Norton and all Symentec products using Norton Removal tool.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Does it change anything?
