Solved BSOD: Related to Downloading Torrents

Computer has been stable but recently had two (2) BSOD. Seems to be related to torrent downloading. Thanks for looking.

Well; at this point i can safely tell ya that you should avoid downloading things from torrents; as they can contain viruses, malware, adware, etc. and can harm your system. That could very well be the the reason you have gotten a bsod.

Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer. Also a hp officejet pro 8600 plus wireless all in one and a logitech s7500 webcam.

Very good decision.

Now you need to scans with security programs to make sure their are not infection left behind by the use of torrents.

Torrents are famous for installing infections with out ones knowledge.

I see you use MSE. I would start with a complete update scan with MSE.

If you need suggestion on other security program to scan with just ask. I have some favorites that work well for me.

I'm not a BSOD expert but I do know they like a clean, uninfected computer to work with.

Lets see if your system will be able to run the security scans without a BSOD.
If it can't I will find you a BSOD expert to help.
Many times on this forum we will work as a team to help a needy member.
