Hi! Recently I've been getting BSODs whenever my computer has been on ~45 minutes or so at the Lab where I work. It doesn't seem to happen when I'm at home.

I had to reinstall windows semi-recently due to an update that turned my Mac partition into "EFI Boot", which ended with me wiping the hard drive and reinstalling Mac OS X and Windows 7. Before this, I've never experienced any BSODs. I got BSODs on startup for a while, but I uninstalled MalwareBytes and it seemed to fix the problem. Recently, however, I get BSODs whenever I'm at the lab, every time my laptop's been running for more than 45 minutes, though the actual time varies. I don't have any trouble on the Mac partition, so I don't think it's due to overheating.

Hello, Ping An and welcome to the forums. Your files that you uploaded are corrupted, it seems. Would you please run the BSOD posting instructions again and upload them here in your next post (http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html) As a result, I only have 1 dump file to go on. This is what the show.

Please try to update the driver from the manufacturer's web site.

How do you have Windows installed on the Mac? Are you using something like Parallels? I would monitor the temps anyway, just to be sure.

Ok, I'm not at my computer currently, but will get the other files ASAP. If it's relevant, I think it might have been corrupted because it blue screened right after the zip was made. I have Windows installed through Bootcamp.

Would this be the driver you're talking about?

I couldn't find a more current one besides this.

From my limited knowledge, basically it's an easier way of partitioning the hard drive and installing windows in that all I personally have to do is select how much to partition and have an install disk. Basically I end up with a Windows drive and a Mac drive.

The problem it seems you had with that driver is because it is for Windows XP. Every dump file you have is the same

You saying that it works fine at home but only crashes at work could mean that the wireless point at work has some compatibility issues. That is the only reason I can think of, for why it works at home and not at work. Do you think that is possible? If we could fix it to where it performs at work, it could mess up your connection at home. You may want to read this. Connectivity issues between Broadcom based Dell Wireless WLAN mini-cards and select router/access points | Dell US. It would seem if it was a bad driver, it would be bad wherever you are.

Makes sense. It's not too big of a deal since I'm only at the lab for this summer, I'll stay on the Mac partition. Thanks a lot!

I read that your problem was not that uncommon with that card. There were a lot of issues with it, and some even reported it took the whole network down. That is strange. Is there any way you could hook up to a wired connection at the lab? That should work with no problem.

Ok, just trying to give an alternative. But, I'm not sure why the Mac would work and Windows wouldn't if the same wireless adapter was being used.
