Not sure but something's up with my computer. I've probably received more BSODs this year than anyone else has in the entire life of their computers!

Anyway, here are my files to look at. I'm wondering if maybe I don't have enough power going to the RAM (thought 550 was enough?) but it's probably just a rogue driver.

Edit: I think it has something to do with this message (shown after running the Performance Monitor): "The device, MpKs[random nums and lets], is reporting "tv_ConfigMgrErr24". This device will not be available until the issue is resolved. The Plug and Play ID for this device is ROOT\LEGACY_MPKS[same random nums and lets in all caps]\0000."

These errors do not show up in Device Manager.

I have no clue what the heck these devices are supposed to be though I figure it must have something to do with video. Check my files, and maybe you can tell me more about it. For what it's worth, I did have a problem with Media Center (Playready could not be updated) but I inserted the cable in the wrong jack. When I fixed it, I had no problems.

This may seem trivial..

But have you checked the Event Logs?

I find a lot of clues there. Check the system logs and the Windows logs for things happening around the time of the crash.

Well, I get about 100 "Distributed COM" errors a day:
"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{F706B4B5-72BC-49D5-967C-05194FA83446}
and APPID
{F706B4B5-72BC-49D5-967C-05194FA83446}
to the user HaroldIII-PC\Harold III SID (S-1-5-21-2083564853-2546077465-3233355319-1000) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."

And apparently "SharedAccess_NAT" is unable to allocate memory:
"The DNS proxy agent was unable to allocate 0 bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error."

ServiceControlManager: "A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the lmhosts service."

Oh, the Bonjour Service seems to be having lots of issues.

And finally, I've had my Task Manager and Explorer.exe crash on me once in a while. (Nothing more recent than about a week ago)

I did look up those tv... errors. I deleted every instance of "Ms..." (whatever the heck it is) in Device Manager. The issues have subsequently disappeared in Performance Monitor. I don't know if this will stop the BSODs, but who knows? We'll just have to wait.

But in the meantime, we could have a look at the other symptoms I've been having.
