Hello,

Please I am fighting with this problem more than 1 year... I got random freezes (99% just in IDLE time, or when i am just browsing via browser)
Never happened in games. Never. (playing LoL, CS:GO , or some MMORPGs)

My HARDWARE:
CPU: FX-6300@STOCK + Gelid Tranq. v2,
MB: ASUS M5A97 Evo R2.0
SoundCard: Creative Audigy
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX CL9 1600MHz CL 9/9/9/27
GPU: ATI HD 7790 (Stock)
HDD : Samsung Evo840 120GB
PSU: Zalman ZM-500LX (500W)

What i already tried: Reinstalled whole System WIN7 64Bit, reinstalled ATI HD7790 Drivers. tried install minimalistic Drivers / Beta drivers.
I set BIOS on default settings, without any OC: CPU, RAM, GPU.

You are running an Acer Product ID (PID) on an ASUS board.
This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.

Thanks for your reply, i will try install Windows 10 And let you know. Do you think that this can cause BSODs?

Upgrading may make the problem worse!

I will do a clean install. Is it a problem? Why do you think that?

Upgrading gives problems to the new OS and creates new problems while upgrading.
