The BSODs are caused by AMD AHCI Compatible RAID Controller.

Try to update it from http://support.amd.com/us/psearch/P...entType=KB+Article&ostype=&keywords=&items=20 .

Let us know the results.

BTW, you have only one internal HDD, a 1 TB Seagate. Is Raid any must for you? In this setup, I would not have used RAID. Its often problematic.

Boot into BIOS setup to set SATA controller to AHCI or SATA mode. It will disable the RAID automatically.

If there is any AMD RAID program listed in Control Panel > Programs and features, uninstall it, too.

For chipset, you have to download it according to your motherboards specifications. Your user manual may guide you in it.

Just want to have a look myself if the RaidXpert is installed there or not. Download and install CCleaner. Then run it.
Go to "Tools" .... by default it will open the "uninstall" tab.
Click on save as text file. Save it on your desktop.
Upload the text file for us.

BTW, from your system manufacturer's site, your computers chipset model is 880G. Make it sure first. Have a look in this picture.

So, this driver will work for you.
AMD Chipset Drivers
Code:
[B]Description:[/B]
This package is for motherboards with 700 series or newer AMD chipsets, and includes:
                            AMD Chipset Drivers
                            AMD AHCI Driver
                            AMD USB 3.0 Driver
But before giving it a shot, compare it in both the places.

What I would do is Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 after resetting BIOS to defaults and setting SATA controller to AHCI.

Delete all partitions during reinstall and create new as you wish during Steps 7/8 of Clean Install Windows 7

The SATA drivers should be in the installer and other drivers quickly updated by Windows Updates after install as explained in the tutorial. Stick with its tools and methods and you'll get and keep a perfect install for as long as you do.

I'l try that when i have the time. (next weekend probably)

Thanks for all the help

RaidXpert is not installed there, but the problem was, the SCSI controllers there is being controlled by a RAID console actually .... From your SCSI controllers ....

ITEM|VALUE
Nimi | AMD RAID Console
Valmistaja | Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Tila | OK
PNP-laitetunnus | SCSI\PROCESSOR&VEN_AMD&PROD_RAID_CONSOLE\4&BA3C608&0&000C00

That's why changing the mode failed to boot it, I guess. As RAID is unnecessary, and it's problematic, it will be the best that you follow Greg's suggestions. It will give you the windows installation which is able to maximize windows native performance.

It would seem that the achi problem is solved after reverting to previous point and installing drivers again.

and that i have not experienced blue screen for a while now. but i have been experiencing system freezes. (video/game just freezing and fix'd only by hard reset.

how ever now it finally crashed to bsod and created a dumbfile. it did not display as previously the "achi.sys" cause. so i'm hoping some one could check the latest file and tell what is wrong this time.

(considering to throw PC's out the window and go with smart phones like every one else)

Edit:
also in event log i have plenty of the following errors:
Event source
10 WMI
11 cdrom
12 HAL
46 volmgr
455 ESENT
1000 Aplication error
1001 bugcheck
1101 .net Runtime
and so on.
is it normal?

Edit2:
i have updated
chipset
Raid drivers
Sound drivers
Video drivers
