Win7 Home Premium.
After uninstalling Norton 360, it requested a restart, then Blue Screened with error
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Won't boot in normal or any safe mode, so no chance of running anything in Windows or checking drivers.
Cannot save or post a dump file.
Help?
thanks

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Then run Startup Repair at least 3 times from the installation disk (or from here: Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs — The NeoSmart Files )
If that doesn't work, then try "bootrec /fixmbr" and "bootrec /fixboot" at the Command Prompt.

This presumes that your system isn't infected. If it is infected, you'll have to remove the infection first. I'd suggest posting over in the Security forums for assistance with using a rescue disk to remove viruses: System Security - Windows 7 Forums

Thank you usasma; that's really useful for future similar issues. I had to decide quickly what to do and as there was no important data on the m/c I did a recover to factory option and all is well( after 3 hours worth of effort and updates) if course.
There was no infection on the computer.

I do not recommend norton 360. I would use the microsoft security essentials which is free from microsoft under security on their main page. It will (or should) automatically allow you to download the correct version for your computer. let it update and scan. Many people have voted in the MSE favor and being quite good.

I personally use Vipre Premium which has an all you can eat version quite cheap.
