Hey guys
Iv been experiencing BSOD's every boot after installing Win7 Ultimate 64bit, and its frustrating me beyond the point. I was running Vista 32bit and I still had the problem but not as frequent but still was around about 3 BSOD's before it finally booted into the desktop. My PC is basically an old Acer Aspire but with custom components except the Mobo, RAM, and CPU which are the only originals left. I first started noticing this issue when I installed a 2Tb HDD (Seagate) for storage and now that iv installed my new Western Digital Black 500gigs HDD with the win7 installation on it the BSOD at boot as worsened.
My Specs:
Winodows 7 Ultimate 64bit
AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz
ATI Radeon HD 4890 (Shapire)
Old Mobo (Sorry I don't have a description for it)
RAM(2x2gig) (400MHz I think, not to sure)
Western Digital Black 500GB - Boot Drive/Video Game Drive
Seagate Green - 2TB - Storage only
I would love to solve this issue, but if it is because of the old components I think its about time to upgrade anyway, but if it isn't necessary id appreciate advice to save some cash.
Thanks guys
