BSOD when booting and sometimes when using playing NeedForSpeed

when I boot my laptop or play a game that requires a lot processing power just about like 5 minutes into the game it sometimes displays the BSOD and then the error message below, this is strange because none of this happened earlier

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats including BSODs.
