Recently, I was just using my PC and surfing the net like a normal human being. Then after one night, as i tried to connect to my internet via wifi, windows suddenly changed my wifi network name from "c8daed" to "c8daed 2" and loses internet connection. I tried the reconnecting thing and deleting and scanning again and managed to bring back the "c8daed"(without the #2) and regain my internet connection. but after a few seconds, my PC started to crash and gave me the legendary BSOD. Please help me for this really bugs me alot. thanks! By the way i have attached the file that the forum requires me to give information about the BSOD

Hi Skhiburdhurs.

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats.

The crash dumps are all stop 0xF4, should not be related to networks, but relates to storage.

Test the HDD using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.

Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.
About WiFi networking, the driver to the USB adapter is too old.
