We use Mastercam X8 on a Windows 64 bit Dell Precision M4800. We also use a program called CIMCO that will send the data to the lathe using a USB to Serial adapter. It has worked fine in the past but recently always BSOD whenever we click the transmit button in CIMCO to send the data to the lathe.

So far I have:
- Ran the Dell Diagnostics, and everything came back OK.
- Used a different but same brand/model USB to serial adapter.
- Used the system restore to push it back to a time when it worked.

I'll run it again, but it only created those three files in the zip. One moment.

All the BSODs happened during using CIMCO Edit V7.
Code:
OVERLAPPED_MODULE: Address regions for 'aksfridge' and 'IntcDAud.sys' overlap

ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0x1100 - The remote storage service encountered a media error.
It looks like a storage failure, but in that case it should happen elsewhere too; which is not happening apparently.

Try a complete uninstallation of CIMCO and reinstall it? See how it goes.

So I did an uninstall and reinstall. We tried to use the transmit again and it worked fine, however the data did not to go the machine since my end user plugged in the wrong usb . Once he corrected that, the blue screen reappeared.

It appears overall that the issue is from CIMCO's part. Can you talk with their service?
