Hi,

I got a couple of BSODs both while encoding H.264 with adobe media encoder. I was also using Samsung Kies and browsing the web with Chrome. I have encoded plenty of H.264 without issue, but I'm thinking there much be a glitch with the file I'm currently trying to encode, as since I have stopped trying no BSOD. If someone could verify it is adobe media encoder causing the BSOD, I would be most grateful.

Thank you kindly for your time.

You try HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder to encode to H.264.

When I was a noob in the forum, I faced the issue of system hang during video encoding. Wishmaster helped me there, and the first question was .... are you overclocking? If so, set the hardware back to default. It applies to you too :)

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Hey,

Thanks very much for your response.

Completely forgot about the OC!, will try running at stock, see if that helps.
Also I'm a bit short PSU wise, time for an unrated model methinks.

If I'm still having trouble I'll start running the other tests later tonight.

Thanks again for your help.

Thanks again for your help. I successfully encoded the file once I removed the OC on my CPU. I have no more errors since removing my OC.
