So i recently put my new rig together, tested all hardware and they all passed. Installed all drivers. For abut 3 weeks now the computer is BSOD 2-3x a day. It mainly happens while in idle or at shut down or just returning from idle. I run a 120gb ssd drive with my OS on it as well as 2 games i play regularly. EVE online and BF4. I also ran my music player off as well. It sometimes BSOD when i try to run fraps in eve (fraps is on my HDD) or music off my HDD as well. all Are related to error 0x0000007f.

This is becoming quite a headache now and i am contemplating a fresh install of WIN 7 at this point.. Ive checked all my ram and connections over and over and still no luck what so ever. Please any help would be appreciated. I dont know what to do. ive taken the libery of uploading my dmp files in a zip file to this thread. thank you.

ill also add that my original hdd was a vista hdd. i full formated when i upgraded if that helps.

Hi Rolex21.

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats.
Code:
[COLOR=Red]Windows 7 Kernel Version 7600 MP[/COLOR] (8 procs) Free x64
Product: WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTS
Built by: 7600.16385.amd64fre.win7_rtm.090713-1255
Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Service Pack and Update Center - Microsoft Windows

Apparently your issue is with the Intel RST drivers.
Code:
[COLOR=Red]BugCheck 7F[/COLOR], {[COLOR=Green][B]8[/B][/COLOR], 80050033, 406f8, fffff80002edcfe0}

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiDoubleFaultAbort+b2 )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
A stop 0x7F with the first parameter 8 means EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT. A double fault occurs as a result of either a stack overflow (caused by drivers) or it is a hardware issue.

We are seeing that Intel RSD driver (Storage Controller) is failing here.
Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\iaStor.sys, Win32 error 0n2
[COLOR=Red]*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for iaStor.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for iaStor.sys[/COLOR]
Win32 Start Address iaStor (0xfffff880010777dc)
As you have uploaded the crash dumps only, we cannot judge the storage controller mode set; and without seeing it, we cannot suggest anything further. RST can be used as SCSI/RAID and as AHCI, too. The required actions will be totally different in either case.

So, for the further support, upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

It is good that IRST is used as AHCI in your system. It makes the job easy.

Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.
Let us know how the computer is running after doing it. If you want, you may supply us another MSINFO32.nfo file after doing that, so that we can check whether the job is properly done or not.

Ok uninstalled the drivers and the intel driver like you said. CPU restarted, reinstalled the drivers. Restarted after, did it again, then it was good to go. Here is the msinfo32 file for your checking. So far so good.

Again, thank you arc.
