Hi! this is my first time in the forum so sorry if i didnt post this in the right category or section. This is the first time it happens to me, i was in the kitchen, and when i came back this BSOD appeared. It says "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval", searching in internet i found that this may be a Overclock problem in the CPU , a bad Driver installation or a motherboard problem. I have this pc for 2 years and it never happened before, i never overclocked my pc, in fact i dont know how to do it. I have the DMP or minidump of the BSOD (Well, i think it is i may be wrong) attached here.
I have to say that my processor in idle is like 30-50ºc , and when gaming it goes to 66º or 72ºc sometimes, they said that is my motherboard and that i should buy a aftermarket cooler too. That is why in a few weeks im going to buy other parts for my pc, but with this bsod i fear that i may have to buy another CPU...
Sorry for my english and thanks for the help!

Hello and welcome Freezetime now mate first up we need a little more info on the system so please follow this System Info - See Your System Specs

Now you say the temp on the CPU rises to 70C at times and that is a bit of a worry unless you are really testing it out with some heavy duty stuff, but you say you never overclock so it is a worry.
Now before you go worrying about the CPU it would be a good idea to take a look inside the case and check for any dust and crud that may have accumulated especially if you are running one of those wretched stock coolers and if it is clogged up then you will need to clean it out a bit. Usually one uses one of those compressed air cans to do that and a anti static brush - I use those cheap hogs hair ones but you can get specialist brushes for that. You also need to check all the case fans for proper operation and that the inlets are not clogged too.

One last thing I cannot open RAR files so could you please follow these

Here is the Archive, have in mind that im from a spanish speaking country so you maybe have trouble in reading the notes. Some guys just said that my cpu temperature is just the socket/case, and the real temperature are the cores (They always are 30ºc at idle and 60ºc or 50ºc on load)
Thanks for the response!

Hi! i did everything, i update all my drivers and i did all the tests , prime95 for 4 hours and it didnt give me any error. Except for the RAM , i cant test that because i dont have a cd or usb with free space. In other forums they said that it maybe was a low tension or a underclock done by the motherboard* to the cpu , and that caused the BSOD, but im not sure. Anyways , like i said in a few weeks im going to update my pc with new parts, if something happens im gonna tell you.
If this is relevant, before the bsod appeared i was with each Chrome and firefox full of windows , consuming a lot of ram, so maybe the system shut down for prevent a ram error or something, also im going to buy a usb for the memtest.
Thanks for the response!
*EDIT: My motherboard is a asrock 960gm vgs3 fx, during the pass of this years i read in the internet that this motherboard is too bad for my proccesor, it has a bad VRM , power phase and TDP, i should change it, maybe this is the problem.

Ok mate do what torchwood has advised and doing the memtest can wait and a CD is all you want for that - a matter of a few cents. Personally I prefer a disk over a USB stick I find them too fiddly.

Hi guys! well, i manage to get a usb and i did the memtest , and after 6 hours of test (4 pass aprox) it never pop an error, so i assume that my Ram is in perfect state. Anyways, since then i didnt get another BSOD , so probably it was just (From what i read in the forums) a undervolt in the vcore, causing one of the cores to not respond, maybe. Thanks for the help, all of you! i will advice if something happens, but till then i think this is solved.

Windows update was being more part of the problem than part of the solution. And it uses a lot of resources while scanning.
I have it now as Manual. - Services - Windows update=manual.
I now only install the Roll up SECURITY updates.
The complete Roll up updates comes with a lot of things that you don't know what they are for. (probably spy, tracking etc)

Hello Freezetime mate the test you did did not run for long enough it has to be for at least 8 passes any less and you may as well not bother. It is up to you of course and for peace of mind I would be running that test again.
