BSOD while netbook in sleep mode

I shut my netbook this morning while Python- IDLE editor was running along with chrome web browser. I come back after class and the computer had shut off. The black screen came up prompting for start up in safe mode vs. normal. I went with normal and then got a Windows message detailing the blue screen and improper shut down.

I exited that, but have since looked at Event Viewer and copied the event's details below.

EventData
BugcheckCode 159
BugcheckParameter1 0x3
BugcheckParameter2 0x84749680
BugcheckParameter3 0x81b65ae0
BugcheckParameter4 0x86518008
SleepInProgress true
PowerButtonTimestamp 0

I have attached the dump files along with the perf report.

From looking at the health report I noticed some errors concerning the memory. I'm pretty certain it has to do with a RAM upgrade I performed. This netbook came with a meager 1GB of RAM.

Acer said that it was not eligible for an upgrade; however, with research I found others who had upgraded to 2GB themselves. I ordered the RAM chip and did the same and now have 2GB of working RAM. This is obviously causing some sort of mix up with the system, and I'd like to know if there is some sort of work around? I really don't want to get rid of this extra gigabyte!

And just some extra info- I have norton antivirus 360 and the Windows7 Ultimatex32 is a retail version. The netbook came with windows 7 starter.

Thanks!

Your network (wired) connection is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

Acer website says the system can handle 2gB of RAM - so as long as it's correctly installed, you should be OK. You can download a bootable test for USB for this memory test: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool if you want to be sure.

Single memory dump blames bcmwl6.sys - a driver for your Broadcom Wireless Adapter.
Please do this:
- download a fresh copy from the Acer website: Acer AOD257- Step5 Scroll down to Wireless LAN Broadcom
- uninstall the current Broadcom Wireless Adapter drivers/software
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

If that doesn't fix it, post back. The next thing I suspect is your Norton 360.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

No it's not deliberate. I live in an apartment that offers time warner cable. The wireless internet is terribly slow and unreliable. I'm using a ethernet cable right now, but it is working..I think. Sometimes there is problems with that too. Any suggestions with that?

And I'm downloading the new driver now and will try that once it's finished. Will the uninstall of the current driver within the device manager be sufficient?

Do not install the driver through Device Manager unless there isn't an entry in Control Panel...Program...Uninstall a program (that way removes more stuff - which is more sure to get rid of any possible corruptions).

couldn't find it in within programs.. so I went with device manager. Uninstalled it there along with the software. Installed the new one and everything seems fine so far. I'll continue to watch out for it. Thanks for your help!
