Please help me, I'm always encountering BSOD when I opened applications in the past. I formatted my pc and changed OS. My PC got good on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit in opening browsers but when I played Dota 2, I found out something, it always occurs only when playing Dota 2. This is the archive file View attachment 361654 Please help me ASAP. I'm always "Abandon" in my games :( Thanks in advance.

Ok Joshua that is so much better mate and I am so sorry you have had THAT much trouble for starters I would recommend you uninstall the Catalyst Control Centre as it is prominent in the last dump.

Try running the machine in safe mode if you have to - to do that and we shall see where we are going hopefully.

Well those are the codes for a driver fault and the ones marked in red check out with the standard code list I use from Corrona that suggest removing the CCC.

Well I suppose I should have added that you uninstall and then reinstall to get rid of any bugs that may have crept in. Personally I had ATi graphics in a Sandy Bridge build I did a few years back and had nothing but trouble with it so have now gone completely NVidia - but that choice is yours of course.

Now as for the AV well you can have paid for or free I pay about $0.075 a day for the Kaspersky ISS (3PC 3 year licence so if you have one machine in theory you get three years cover for 1 PC) or you can pick form the real time list in here Free Windows Desktop Software Security List | Gizmo's Freeware

Oh sorry for the late reply - been on the graveyard shift (night duty) for few days and it makes it hard to catch up with everyone.

The CCC is the Catalyst Control Centre see this What is Catalyst Control Center? - Tom's Guide

Now if you are thinking of NVidia it really depends on tow things a) what you are intending to use the graphics for and b) your budget.

So for example I use the Asus GTX 650Ti in my machines (desktops) only because I like a little quality and control in the graphics - I don't game very much at all I fact hardly ever and if I did I think that GPU would suffice for me. https://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GTX650_TI1GD5/

Now going on those criteria if you want an opinion then just ask in the hardware section stating what the graphics are going to be used for because there are a lot of members who are far better off than me to advise you. I know a lot of the intense games there are now call for GPU's that can cost into the hundreds of dollars - my usual supplier now lists the GTX 750Ti which costs around $190 and like I said suits me. https://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GTX750TIOC2GD5/ < this outguns the 650 by a bit but is only $10 more than the one I have.

Now NVidia also have a piece of software like CCC that one can use and unlike my experience with CC the NVidia stuff has not given any problems but like anything it can and does have it's shortcomings as we do get a fair few queries re it.

But the choice is yours of course.

so the problem of my pc is in hardware not in software?
Well strictly not true I was just suggesting that you could move to NVidia because of all the problems that are through the ATi stuff which in itself may be perfectly good but the software for it is letting you down in some way.

In case you are concerned you are not alone and there are plenty of folks using Ati stuff that do not have problems and yours just might be bad downloads of the software. I got fed up with it because of the continuing problems. Plus there are problems with NVidia too but myself have not had any so far and my GPU's have been in for some time. Like anything else how you use it sometimes has an effect on whether it runs properly or not - for example when folks overclock hardware. .
