Hi everyone. My boyfriend's computer has crashed - the dreaded BSOD came up while in mid-game. It flashes for about a second and then restarts itself. I can't boot the computer normally without the BSOD coming up again with the same error. I've managed to take a picture of the error screen and I'll upload it here. Sorry its blurry, my phone couldn't focus fast enough.

I'm currently operating the damn thing in safe mode and frantically Googling for solutions from my laptop, but it has proved fruitless so far so I'm hoping someone from here can point me in the right direction. I've fixed and tinkered with laptops before successfully, but taking on a gaming PC is a new challenge for me.

I believe this is a driver issue. He has been using Windows 7 (although I don't think its legitimate) and its a 32bit OS. (I've tried to get him a legit 64-bit Windows 7, but that's another issue in itself, so for now its the former). I've also added the BSOD zip folder.

Please help!

Hi there,

You are correct, it isn't a legitimate install. I will tell you that it's related to your Nvidia Video drivers though, I can see that in the picture.

We don't support piracy so that is all we can do until you get a legal install.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where can I obtain a real version, and can I install it in safe mode?

Okay, I'm back again with the same issue.

I re-installed a legit version of Windows 7 Professional. Everything was working smoothly, I got network drivers working and was just re-installing the graphics and audio drivers. I went to restart after all the installations and then BOOM, BSOD, same error as before. Again, the computer will only boot in safe mode.

I will add the attachment of specs once I get the computer up and running again.

EDIT: Added attachment
