Hi and welcome

Of your 28 crashes only one points towards your video subsystem. The majority are various software complaints that I think points towards your Symantec

If I were you I would start by removing and replacing it with Microsoft Security essentials at least to test.

http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

I would also run System file check

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

It may need to be run up to three times before sucessful

Read here for more information http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

AND I would run the update readiness tool and then update to SP-1>

Ensure you install the correct 64 or 32bit option for your system)

Download the System Update Readiness Tool (64bit)
Download the System Update Readiness Tool (32bit)

Hi, i tried getting the ASUS update program from the ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- website, but on google chrome it gives me "The server method 'GetModel' failed". i tried on IE, it worked for a bit, but then it gave me stack overflow on line: 0, and on Firefox it just doesnt work at all.
sorry for being such a noob at computers!
also, it crashes when i use the dragonica patcher, and a few more like CS:S and so on.
