Solved BSOD while randomly using computer after replacing motherboard + CPU

Intel is generally considered to have top of the line Network adapters. I was thinking the same thing to myself or that it was a Bus problem.

Another BSOD just happened while I was sleeping. And now that I thought that the Intel NIC was the problem.

edit 1: There was just yet another BSOD, this time when I actually was at the computer. I was opening a video file to watch using mpc-hc and Windows immediately BSOD. This has never happened before.

edit 2: Even though memtest shows no problems, I am beginning to think that the motherboard has a problem with this RAM. Do you think I should order a kit listed on MSI's compatibility support list of RAM? http://se.msi.com/support/mb/Z97_GAMING_7.html#support-mem

An update:
By coincidence, I saw that the RAM (Kingston) I have in my other computer (a HTPC) is listed on MSI's compatibility list.
So I exchanged the kits, putting the Corsair RAM in the HTPC and the Kingston RAM in this computer.

Guess what? No problems of any kind so far. I am going to give it a few more days to see what happens (Driver Verifier is still running).

The first one didn't really tell us much, The second one said:

The manufacturer of your particular USB Dongle would be my first place to look. I would not think you have compatibility problems with your board and ram. memtest should have thrown an error if there was a compatibility problem. But, we are going to eventually run memtest86+ again. Please wait and I will tell you how. We are going to put you through the ringer first. Let's see what we can find out about what's going on.

The first thing I want you to do, is backup all of your personal data to an external device, preferably an external hard drive. That is a precautionary measure. So far, we are not going to do any destructive tests.

Please use the Samsung toobox, and check your drive's firmware and update it if necessary. Please download AS SSD
(Download AS SSD Benchmark - MajorGeeks) and as always watch out for the sneaky add ons they try to include with it. It does not really install, just extract it to a folder, Open the EXE file and select your SSD, please post a screenshot of that screen. You do not have to run the test if you don't want to. You can if you like, it won't hurt anything. It is just an SSD benchmark test and only takes a few minutes.

Next open a elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

I need to check your hard disks. I'm not sure of a program that will do so with them in Raid. Raid is a real pain at times and with today's technology is not really necessary. I know about raid and have used it several times. It works pretty well, but causes a lot of issues, like this one. A raid array is rarely even seen by most reliable diagnostic programs. So, if you can right click the volume in explorer and select properties. In the properties screen, click the Tools tab and check the drives for errors. It will most likely tell you it can't do it with it online and ask if you want to dismount the drive, select no. It should then ask if you want to schedule it for the next reboot, select yes. Press OK and reboot.

Please download from MSI all of the drivers you currently use and place them on a USB Flash drive or some other media. Copy from there the latest Chipset and USB 3.0 drivers and install them.

If you haven't already please disable Driver Verifier before starting this.

Please run Core Temp and MSI Afterburner at all times. You can set both programs to show the temp in the system tray so you will always know your temps. MSI Afterburner

Please make sure all Windows Updates are run. Just do not install the Graphics driver they will try to install.

Reinstall your NVidia Graphics driver. This will show you the best way.

Please install Malwarebytes, the free version. In the set up be sure to uncheck the trial version snd use it as an on demand scanner. Once it is set up and updated please run a full scan. ( Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Internet Security Software)

Download and install Ungine Heaven. Run it Please run the Benchmark on the preset Extreme settings. it should look like the below screenshot. Keep a watch on temps and stop the test if your card reaches 80C. It is a video card stress test. Tell me how it runs and post a screenshot of the results. It should run in windowed mode so you can get to the snipping tool, select rectangular and outline the score and save it to the desktop. Upload it after you have run it. If you are not familiar with the snipping tool, this will show you how to use it How to Use the Snipping Tool in Vista.

OK, here is the Heaven setup. Push Run and it will open the screen and begin to load. When it is finished loading you will see the video start to move, in the top left push Benchmark. Let me know how it is going as you go through this stuff. It sounds like a lot, but it really isn't much. We'll get to that stuff later.

Thanks for these last two posts. I have not had a single BSOD/problem yet since changing the RAM. I will not continue the investigation yet - however, if there should be a new BSOD then I will continue our investigation as per your latest two posts.

Yes sir, whatever you would like. For some reason we keep getting the network driver, no matter which one you use. Please let me know how it goes. BTW, I would still run the virus scans. It will not hurt to make sure you are free of any bad stuff you may have collected along the way. Better safe than sorry.
