Alright, so heres the story

Yesterday I was surfing the internet on my Dell XPS 15 (L50A2X Model, to be precise).|
When suddenly I got him by a random BSOD. Thinking nothing of it, i restarted my laptop and continued to use it. However, after 5-10 minutes of usage it BSOD's again. I re-tried this several times. Giving up, I launched windows in safe mode. With the small resolution and no networking, only basic drivers, etc. Since I could not do much in safe mode, I got my windows install CD and re-installed WHILE IN SAFE MODE. Once I launched my new windows, it looked all fine...except that the resolution was still super low (640 x 480) and that it was only running basic drivers. It was in safe mode, except it didnt say safe mode in the corners and I did not press F8 upon boot. So I restarted my PC and pressed F8, and chose Start Windows Normally. Still the same problem. Frustrated and unable to find a solution on my trusty google, I decide to wipe my hard drive by booting from the windows cd directly. Then I reinstalled windows 7 home premium 64bit. Still the same problem. Really pissed now, I went to bed. Is my computer screwed? Is this a common problem?

It looks like that you need your graphics card driver updating.

The drivers for your hardware also varies depending on the operating system. If you moved from a different OS, you'd need a new set of drivers for your computer's hardware intended for that particular OS.
