BSOD happens a few times a day.
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Retail version
Fresh install two months ago.

AMD Athlon II x4 640
NVIDIA GTX 460
Asus m4a88td
RAM 4gb DDR 1333

Update UltraMon, it is related to a multiple monitor utility. The version you are using has an outdated driver

Remove any Asus Utilities such as PC Probe, they use old drivers and are known to cause problems on Windows 7

Remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that caused BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

Instead of the Asus Utilities, is there a recommended utility to monitor cpu temp and fan speed?

You can use CoreTemp
Core Temp
Run Driver Verifier if BSODs continue then upload the dumps which are created

I uninstalled all Asus utilities and removed Alcohol %120. Still, I got BSODs.
I turned on Driver Verifier, but the machine would not boot afterwards and I had to restore from a restore point.
