Hello,

I am having some trouble with my custom made computer. I used to have, a year ago very often BSODs with 2~3 distinctive stop errors which at the end made 2 winXP and 1 ubuntu partitions unbootable. I checked memory and other hardware without finding a culprit. It seemed that CPU was not very well seated and heat was creating the trouble. Since I corrected it, stop errors nearly disappeared. I wanted though to recover the data.

I had for this reason install a clean windows 7 OS on a brand new SATA disk about 10 months ago. Things were going rather good until yesterday. Since I am getting BSODs. The most common stop errors I have got are 0x0000007f, 0x00000124, 0x1000008e.

I checked with bluescreenview the errors yet I am not very sure how to proceed to get rid of the problem. I am uploading zipped errors but I have been unable to produce a Perfmon report as computer has crashed at least twice when I tried to produce it and since I have been in safe mode trying to find out what is going wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .
A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress
Some generic advice.

If you are overclocking STOP. return to the default settings at least for now.

If you are running a RAID update its driver.
