I am trying to recap here so I know where we are. Please correct anything or add anything I have missed.

1. You ran Memtest and it found no problems.
2. You ran SFC with no problems.
3. Bitdefender is uninstalled and replaced with MSE
4. You have updated your video drivers and your Rt64win7.sys - Realtek 8101E/8168/8169 NDIS 6.20 64-bit Driver for Realtek 8101E/8168/8169 PCI/PCIe Adapters. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=7&PFid=10&Level=3&Conn=2
5. You ran FurMark and it found no problems with your video card.
6. You ran Prime and it found no problems with your CPU and your CPU temp leveled.
7. Driver Verifier causes crashes during bootup and it is currently turned off.
8. You did a complete reinstall of Win 7.

Is all this correct? Did I miss anything?

For #8, it was a complete format and then reinstall. Otherwise yes. When I woke up this morning the computer had restarted. I checked the minidump to see if it was a blue screen and there was nothing. I think it must have been an automatic update, so I have no way of checking the 18 hour CPU test but I guess it was ok.

They are very sporadic, sometimes they'll happen a couple times a day or two, other times it'll be weeks before I have any issues. Also, I don't know if this helps but this is usually what happens:

When I turn on the computer, it doesn't fully boot. Everything starts up but the computer stays black and the CDROM drive can't open. If I let it sit for a few seconds (up to like 30) sometimes it will start to fully boot all of a sudden. Sometimes nothing happens, and I power it off and try again. This fixes it sometimes, other times I have to power down and try again maybe 4 or 5 times. If that doesn't work, I open up the case and reset the CMOS via the jumper and most of the time that helps. I do have to say that sometimes after a BSOD and the "lagged" boot up happens, I'll see the opening advertisement screen for my motherboard and then end up with a DISK BOOT ERROR, INSERT SYSTEM DISC or something. So when that happens I'll either CMOS reset or just power down and then back on and it fixes that sometimes.

Don't know if that helps at all.

This sounds like a hardware problem and not Windows related. I am bringing forward my post from the previous page and I am going to ask for additional help.

This is what you have done to date:
5. You ran FurMark and it found no problems with your video card.
6. You ran Prime and it found no problems with your CPU and your CPU temp leveled.
7. Driver Verifier causes crashes during bootup and it is currently turned off.
8. You did a complete reinstall of Win 7 with format.

Have you run a hard disk check? If not lets do that.
Run CHKDSK /R /F from an elevated (Run as adminstrator) Command Prompt. Please do this for each hard drive on your system.

When it tells you it can't do it right now - and asks you if you'd like to do it at the next reboot - answer Y (for Yes) and press Enter. Then reboot and let the test run. It may take a while for it to run, but keep an occasional eye on it to see if it generates any errors. See "CHKDSK LogFile" below in order to check the results of the test.

Elevated Command Prompt:
Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
At the top of the Search Box, right click on Cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator"

CHKDSK LogFile:
Go to Start and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Expand the Windows logs heading, then select the Application log file entry.
Double click on the Source column header.
Scroll down the list until you find the Chkdsk entry (wininit for Windows 7) (winlogon for XP).

Copy/paste the results into your next post.

Ok, the scan just finished. Before I post the results (cause I'm having trouble finding them in the event viewer), I have an idea. When I built this computer I have a master new HD that I set up SATA and then I grabbed the hard drive out of my old computer and linked it to the CD ROM ribbon. I was thinking during the scan that the old hard drive was the problem. So I unplugged it and tried to start up the computer and I consistently got the disk boot error everytime. Is that probably the problem? How do I get rid of it and unplug it but get my computer to start up? The Windows files and everything are in the C: drive, my main SATA. I also noticed that it's not even listed on My Computer, only the main drive is.

Also have an Asus ha1002xp netbook with Win 7 Ultimate installed.
Did you have the old drive installed when you installed Windows? If so, it could be the problem. Either way, you need to fix the Master Boot Record it sounds like. To do this, you will need to do a startup repair about three times, with reboots in between each, with the second hard drive not plugged in. Here is a tutorial on how to do that.

Two great suggestions from karlsnooks and Petey7.

We really need your system specs to trouble shoot your hardware.

Definitely sounds like a Master Boot Record issue, this needs to be corrected.
Then run Scandisk on both HDDs.

6 hours later no problems, still 36°C, should I let it go completely overnight?

Running Prime95 should definitely raise your CPU temps much more than that.

Re-run Prime95 and check temps with RealTemp if you have an Intel processor, or CoreTemp if AMD.

The "Number of torture test threads to run:" will depend on your processor, dual core?
Please give your CPU information.

This issue could be PSU related, give us all the info you can on your PSU.

As mentioned previously, check/re-seat all cables on your motherboard including all power connections.
Check for any possible grounding points.

Do you hear any beep codes when your system boots?

You may need to bench test your components, remove them from the case and test removing ones you can and substitute others when necessary.
