If this is still a budget gaming rig, then you should not worry about hard drives. Games do not use hard drives for anything other than map loading... that's it. When you're in-game blasting Chives away, your hard drive is sitting there idle. It's still spinning, but it's not doing anything game related... so setting up a RAID array is unnecessary. If you have any extra money, you really do want to put it into getting the very best graphics card you can. If you already have the best card, then put your money into the fastest cpu.... extra hard drives are low on the list.
