bug: windows maximize behind taskbar

Since I encountered the fancy stuff on my machine right now I started searching for a solution and finally landed here.

My solution is: with an Intel integrated graphics controller you can switch the display mode you are using (Win+P hotkey) and windows will respect the task bar again. Perhaps also just changing the resolution may work.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! :p:geek::cool:

This is what worked for me

I accessed the task bar properties by right clicking on the task bar and selecting the properties option.
Next I changed the task bar button option to "Never Combine" and then apply at the bottom. This caused my desktop window to resize above the task bar. I then changed the task bar button option back to what I had it before and it worked fine from that point on. I do not know what caused the bug but it seems that doing the above steps reset the task bar settings and it now work fine. Hope this helps someone in the future.
