Talk about partitioning to the extreme. If you're using many mapped network drives, you used to be able to set the locations up in your My Network Places to save letters, can you do the same in 7?

Make an empty folder on a NTFS formatted drive where you want the contents of the partition to show up.

Go into Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management

Right click on the partition you want to mount, select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."
If the partition has a drive letter already assigned to it, click "Remove", then click "Yes"
Click "Add..."
Select "Mount in the following empty NTFS folder..."
Click "Browse..."
Navigate to and select the empty folder you created earlier and click OK, OK, OK.
The contents of the partition show up in the folder.

But what if you want to see the Drive's free space?

The mounted drive will show the HOST drive's used/free space.

There must be a better answer.
