Solved Can access yahoo.com but cannot ping it

I just set up my router (TP-LINK TL-WR941N) in bridge mode. I can open www.yahoo.com and open links on that page also. If I open a cmd window, I can ping www.yahoo.com without problems. However, in the router's diagnostic menu, if I enter www.yahoo.com, I get an error message saying " Ping request could not find host www.yahoo.com. Please check the name and try again." Same for cnn.com.

Is there something wrong with my router?

Some sites do prohibit pinging them. I first ping my ISP then I ping a competitor just to check things out. I just checked and Amazon.com didn't work but tigerdirect.com did. If a ping command works in the Command Prompt window it can be assumed all is good. Could be the Router diagnostic isn't hitting the Internet.
