Can Anyone Recommend A Good Desktop To Do List Program

Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good To Do list program that I can leave on my desktop like a sticky note, but that also has the option for due dates of task/deadlines and reminders. A few that I have found don't have that option.

If there is no such widget type to do list program with reminders, I would appreciate any recommendation for a slimmed down to do list program that works with Windows 7 obviously and you don't need to sign in online to use it like Remember The Milk and Wunderlist, etc.

I don't use an app but a little spreadsheet I developed in Excel. Has all the fields you mentioned and a few more. And it was free! It just stays on the desktop. It doesn't have reminders, tho. You do have to open it to see any status.
