can i add a shortcut to my desktop to the malicious removal tool?

or am i forced to use the command prompt

I usually just d/l it from the MS site & place it in a folder on the desktop so I have quick access to it when I need it.

Once you d/l it & run it before the MS updates, it will be removed from the update list (If you've run it & it's still listed, click the "check for updates" & refresh the list). The next month, I do the same thing, d/l the new version & delete the old one.
