Solved Can I build Win PE 5 using Win7

I want to use the Windows Preinstalled Environment 5.0 (better known as Win PE 5.0) for repair and troubleshooting. I really like the idea of a self-contained, all-inclusive, customized single tool. I want to download the appropriate Windows AIK and build the disk on my Win 7 system. Does the Win PE use the files for building the PE from MY offset or is it all contained within the AIK proper? So what IS the answer and is there anything else that is not obvious that I should consider? I have done quite a bit of research thus far and I am just about to do it. I have mostly abandoned my Win 10 system, even after going through ALL of the preview, testing program (it was interesting but the final build likes to lie hidden from my control. Way too scary!). If need be, I could use the Win 10 system but why should I if I don't need to? So this question also has academic value to me also.

Useful page but

I am aware of that page and have read it in my research. But it does not quite address my specific question of whether the PE build is already complete in its files or is dependent on other files within the installed OS. After re-viewing a few video tutorials, I am under the impression that it is entirely self-contained and hence I can build a Win PE5.1 (for Win 10) from within my win 7 desktop.
I do thank you for your prompt reply though.
So is the answer as I suspect it is?
The dread of dusting off my very old minimal DOS skills to do this makes me want to know that it will work before committing all of that energy (despite being a good mental exercise).
I am thinking that once this is done I will have a modern and somewhat (not too) elegant Bart's PE. And that I can tailor further versions specifically for things like my son's workstation and my other computer with not only the correct 64-bit drivers (take that Norton Ghost!) but also tailored and/or hand picked programs for that specific box.

The answer is YES!
I found it within the system requirements of the download page for the PE for Win 8.1:
Download Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8.1 Update from Official Microsoft Download Center
I decided upon the 8.1 because of backwards compatibility with 7 and the rarely used Vista. The WinPE for 10 warns of deployment for Win10 only.
