OK guys, I've got a bit of a problem with my brand new machine.
It's a long story, so before i go down that road i want to try one more thing before posting that thread!

Anybody know how to change the machines RAM from FAT32 to NTFS? My computer also came with a FAT32 HDD. I deleted this partition and Windows 7 automatically created a new NTFS partition for the hard drive. I tried something i saw on the internet in the command prompt, but i couldn't see the letter i needed.

Would this even make a difference to performance? I have literally tried everything i can think off with my limited ability, but i have a sneaky suspicion this might work.

Thanks in advance

FAT32 and NTFS are file systems used by hard drives. They have nothing to do with RAM.

You can change from FAT32 to NTFS if you want to, but your RAM will not be affected.

Thanks for your help, that clears it up a little bit. Guess i'll start writing my SOS thread then!

Thanks again

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Random Access Memory (RAM) and Hard Disk Drive Space are entirely different, as this article explains.

Article - Understanding Memory (RAM), Hard Drives, and the Difference Between Them

However, if you are having problems, we can help, but we need far more information.

What are your computers specs?

What operating system are you using?

Is your computer factory built or self built?

If factory built it should have a warranty and if it is brand new you should be contacting the manufacturer to put things right as any changes you make could invalidate the warranty.
