Solved Can i connect Windows 7 with Windows XP

I just have one question can i connect Windows 7 with Windows XP?
i bought a computer and it have a xp and i have another computer with windows 7,i tried to install windows 7 on both of them,but one computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements so i wonder can i connect the two computers i have ?

Setup both machines workgroup name, and choose the folders that are shareable on each machine, when they both have same workgroup name and the sharing settings are set your home network should find both...
