hello

I've got a windows 7 32 bits professional installation with several problems, one of them is that I cannot install the sp-1 update neither using windows update nor manually process. Thus, there is some blue screens, but they already don't appear because I cleaned the machine with typical software (ccleaner, malware remover, manual updates, etc).

So, at this point I downloaded a ISO from the Microsoft repositories of Windows 7 32 bits SP1 Professional Edition.

I want to preserve the applications, drivers and so on, then I wonder if I can do an upgrade installation from the explained installation using this SP-1 ISO.

It seems you have some corruption which might be best to resolve by doing a perfect http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 which steps are the same for retail. If you stick with only the tools and methods in the tutorial you will keep a perfect install for as long as you do.

It's not possible to do a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html?ltr=R on pre-SP1 OS with media which includes SP1, the last I checked.
