OK! I bought a Japanese laptop with pre-installed Japanese Windows 7.

I have a retail copy of English W7.

I made a copy of the Japanese Windows 7 then wiped and installed my Windows 7. Now, there are problems with the sound when I installed my Windows 7.

Can I do this?: If I put the old Japanese image back, I guess I can get the drivers and download these, put them on a flash drive, then put back my (English) version of W7 and upload the sound drivers right?

This should fix my sound issue right? Reason why is b/c the Japanese windows obviously was checked to work with the chipset etc etc (which is does) so clearly those drivers will work with my English Retail copy of W7!

MY QUESTION!! How do I do the above (if this is correct!!!!)

Thanks as usual you guys are the best on the web for help
