Can i use a Win7 Pro Sp1 CD to repair Win7 Pro wo SP1

I would like to know if I can use a Win 7 Pro CD with SP1 to repair a computer without the SP1 installed?

PS: I had quite a few issue installing SP1, so cannot do this at this stage.

Yes, you can use a Win 7 Pro CD with SP1 to repair a computer without the SP1 installed.

If the SP1 didn't install try again. Most programs require SP1 to run. Disable antivirus to install it.
Download and install windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) from Official Microsoft Download Center. After installation reboot.
