Can multiple "image backups" on one drive be accessed?

Why go through all that horse-hit when you could use a more reliable tool like macrium or an excellent paid sw like paragon for about 30 bucks?

Some months down the track which image name tells me something?
Rename the second to WindowsImageBackup and off you go.

You convinced me.

(reminds me of the 8-hex-digit folder/file names NovaStor creates in its \Media folder to keep track of NovaBACKUP backup volume XML definitions, which have ZERO intuitive value aside from the thankfully present Windows Explorer date/time stamp in an Explorer view).

True and the XML file, if it isn't misplaced, can tell you more.
My point is the name change can give useful information at a cursory glance and it really doesn't require you to jump through hoops to rename it.

As I've said before I also use Macrium but default to Windows for most of my basic imaging because it works for me.
