Yes, as Jonathan King said, follow all suggestions. We all know each other and to put it simply, we each have own own areas of concentration within the BSOD community. No suggestion by one countermands that of another.

This one was caused by your mdmxsdk.sys driver. I is dated 2006 and its age may be cause enough to cause these.

You bought the computer in 2007 and a driver is dated 2006. That sounds just about right and is perfectly normal. Keep in mind that 2007 was long before Win 7 was released. Many software and hardware companies had to upgrade their drivers for Win 7. Most of us here have had to upgrade a few drivers unless we recently bought a brand new system.

Take the name of the driver (this one is the first on the list above) mdmxsdk.sys. Put that in google. It will show you who makes it.

this on says "Mdmxsdk.sys with description Diagnostic Interface DRIVER is a driver file from company Conexant belonging to product Diagnostic Interface. ..." Go to conexant and find it. download and install. Its easy. But time consuming

We use the lmt command from within Windbg.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Here is the list of your obsolete drivers. Those dated 2006 are pre-Vista. Windows 7 is a new OS and it does not like old drivers They can and do create havoc with systems. Are each of these drivers causing your BOSD's? I don't know; but I do know they are not contributing to the stability and smooth running of your system. As part of the troubleshooting process you must either update them or delete the programs/remove the hardware they are associated with.

Here is some information to help you in your search.

rixdpx64.sys Nov 17 2006 - component of Ricoh Memory Card Reader driver, please download and install fresh copy of it
http://www.ricoh.com

nvm62x64.sys Oct 17 2008 - NVIDIA Media and Communications Processor (MCP) Networking Function Driver.

mdmxsdk.sys Jun 19 2006 - mdmxsdk belongs to the software Diagnostic Interface or Diagnostic Legacy Interface or mdmxsdk or Diagnostic Interface x86 Driver by Conexant (www.conexant.com).

CHDRT64.sys Mar 03 2008 - This one is difficult to track down. I think it may be part of Conexant High Definition Audio. You might try the HP site or the Asus site for this one.

CAXHWAZL.sys Jun 20 2007 - This appears to be a Conexant modem driver. Try the HP site and the Asus site.

CAX_DPV.sys Jun 20 2007 - see above

CAX_CNXT.sys Jun 20 2007 - see above

Ricoh may not have an update for this device. You may have to replace the card reader with a new one.

Is your network adapter a chip? If it is try the HP site and search. If not, go to the AMD site and search. Lastly, go to the NVidia site and search for the driver.
