Cannon Optura 30 on Windows 7 64bit

I can not get my computer to recognize my Cannon Optura 30 cam corder. I could not find any drivers that would help with this problem on the Cannon site. Any suggestions on getting my computer recognize the Optura 30?

I have the same problem with an Canon Optura 40. Any one know anything about getting it to work? It seems it will function to capture live video but not pull anything off the tape...
