1. Do what is posted in post #6 in this thread (the volume you are looking for is your C: partition): http://www.sevenforums.com/installa...-missing-even-after-doing-startup-repair.html
2. Then do the Startup/repair as explained here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html
PS: we are not going to give up
Yeah, Siw is always very cryptic. What he says is:
1. Activate your C partition with cmd from the installation disc. (I had suggested the bootable CD of Partition Wizard because Command Prompt work is not everybody's cup of tea). He also abbreviated the commands. The full version would read like thsi:
Diskpart
list volume
( make a note of exactly what it says - and post it up here afterwards)
( find the letter for the volume you installed 7 on - use that instead of ? below)
- he means the C: partition
select volume ? - where ? is your C: partition
active
exit
2. After that, run startup/repair 3 times as described in the second link from Ted (BFK). That should be pretty clear. Where do you not understand ??
Brian, I think we can handle it.
OK, let's have a closer look at your disk. Download the bootable CD of Partition Wizard (link is in the last box of the webpage). Burn this .iso to a CD (e.g. with ImgBurn) and boot your system with the CD. Then take a readable picture with a camera of what PW is showing you. Post that picture here. Then we'll go from there.

Good picture. That looks pretty neat. Apparently your activation of C: with Command Prompt worked because C: is now active. But since you have the 100MB partition which seems to be intact, let's do the following - all with the bootable PW CD:
1. Highlight C: > click on the partition tab above > Modify > deactivate
2. Highlight the 100MB partition > click on the partition tab above > Modify > activate
3. On the left side there should be a 'Fix MBR' button. Click on that.
After each step do an 'Apply' (top left)
On point #3 I may not have the exact semantic because I do not want to take my system down to boot into the CD. But it should be about that.
When you are done with all that, try to boot Windows 7. If the 100MB partition is still intact, that should work. If not, we'll do something else.
