I have an HP desktop with a DVD burner. I mostly use single-layer DVD+R disks, but occasionally is use a dual-layer for the higher capacity. I use Nero Burning ROM to do the work.
Yesterday I twice failed to burn a dual-layer, with Memorex DVD+R DL disks. I got an error ... something like "burn power calibration failed". That never happened before.
I had to switch to single-layer burns ... which worked flawlessly.
Is this a drive problem? Or something else?
