Cannot change password in Windows 7

I am running Windows on a MBP. I run Parallels 11 on the MBP so I can run Windows inside it. I am in the IT Department, a programmer. If I asked them again they will help me, although I am afraid they would say rebuilt the whole Windows environment, which I would kind of like to avoid.

I see what Parallels is. Are you running that without your IT dept having approved it or did they configure that for you?

Please answer these:
- can you browse the network?
- run in cmd and attach here please:

ipconfig -all>>%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt

- are you sure you are logged in to your domain account and not a local one?

One more, are you an admin at least on the local machine?

By the way one solution for this dependency issue is to add network and local service to admins group. But don't know how this works out for a domain enabled PC. In cmd:

net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice
net localgroup Administrators /add localservice
