Cannot create new Admin profile

When logged in as as Admin I created a new Admin profile.
However, when created, it will not allow Admin privileges such as access in user data.

When the new profile icon is shown it says Admin.
But, when checked with User accounts Admin is not checked of Standard User is.
If I choose Admin then OK the the dialog closes.
But when checked again it has reverted to Standard User.

Any suggestion on how to correct this?

Welcome to the forum. Its normal that even admin doesnt have rights on some folders.


open a cmd prompt then type


net user


you will get a list of users then type


net user newadmin name


It will give details does it say its admin?

No it does not list the new profile as Administrator.

I have created and deleted several profiles and each time I chose Admin.
But it does not create an Admin profile.

Welcome to the forum. Its normal that even admin doesnt have rights on some folders.

The user that is Admin has access to the ProgramData and AppData folders.
The newly created user does not.Thanks,
