Cannot defrag as it keeps coming up an error

Hello I need some assistance, Previously I have no problems with defraging my hard drive but now it keeps showing an error and I do not know what to do.

The error is this " An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (0x8007000B) "

Have you tried rebooting in safe mode and then try running it? If not i would give that a shot and see what happens. Also; before rebooting into safe mode; try running a command prompt as a administrator and running a sfc /scannow to have windows scan for any system integrity violations.
