If any of the files in the folder is in use, then you can't delete the folder.
Restart windows and then delete the folder.

Hi, Try this, open a folder on the desktop and call it whatever you want.
Go back to the folder that you want to delete and Cut it, then paste it into the
folder on your Desktop.
From there try and delete it and see what happens.

The file could be in use, so try searching task manager for the running program.
Theres also a program called 'Unlocker' it worked better with XP but still does the job after a reboot.
