I have a Dell Inspiron 560 that has an internal card reader, supposedly available and noted under Device Manager >Drivers as
and all are shown as working.
Further down Device Manager in Portable Devices are
all working.
I am unable to use the reader and have to use an old portable reader via a USB port.
Can some one suggest what is wrong and how it can be put right? Please!

. I remembered that I had a number of cards (SD and XD) that we use in a Fuji bridge that takes both, my wife's Canon, and her old Pentax. Those cards all are seen by the reader.
