Solved Cannot find wifi network

Hey, I have a problem


I reinstalled my old laptop today with Windows 7 Ulitmate N (x64).
All drivers have been successfully installed and they work. But the WLAN not.

- WLAN driver works.
- WLAN adapter is enabled in Adapter Settings
- WLAN Autoconfig is automatic start with windows
- laptop does not have any WLAN switches
- It WLAN Adapter is turned on in the BIOS

The problem is that you can't find a connection, if i start troubleshooting then I get the error message that the adapter is turned off. WLAN Driver is working perfectly!

Laptop type: 110-15IBR Laptop (ideapad)

Welcome to the forum. open a cmd prompt then type


ipconfig /all


post results.


does the wireless card have its own connect software of they do and it kill windows wifi and you have to use its software

Hi

Been looking at the manual, as this lappy was designed around W10 the function keys have changed.

please try Fn+F7
notes
this may not work as this turns Off Airplane mode, no such animal on W7, and enables Wifi.
there are also 2 other specific drivers that are required for Wifi

Because Windows 7 N does not support WLAN control therefore Lenovo Energy Management wanted!
