I am running Windows 7 64 Bit OS on Mobo Intel DG41RQ and Processor Intel E5400 with 2 GB RAM (No extra Graphics Card). But I cannot install Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver on my system. It says: ' You cannot meet the minimum requirement to install the software." First I tried installing the driver with DVD that came with the Mother Board and then downloaded the latest version of Graphics Media Accelerator Driver from Intel's site but could not install.
Please guide me how to install this driver on the system.
Does my system really not meet the parameter to install the driver?
Please help. Thanks in advance.

Is the driver on the DVD for a 64bit system? And for what version of Windows? If it's 64bit and a Vista driver you'll first need to try and install it in compatibility mode Vista.
Right click on the setup.exe file>click the compatibility tab>check the box run in compatibility mode> select in the drop down menu Vista>at the bottom check the box run as administrator then try and run the setup.exe file.

If this doesn't work go to the manufacturers site and download the lastest 64bit version of your video driver,
Unpack it on your desktop>go to device manager>update driver software>browse>let me pick>have disk> browse to where the driver file is and try to install it that way.

Another way is to follow the same method above only when you get to browse to where the driver file is find the .inf file and click or double click it and see if it will install that way.

Your system specs are confusing you have listed in your post one board and in your system specs another. So are you trying to help install th driver ona a different system? Fabe

Thanks for quick response. I will check if the driver I am having is of 32 Bit or 64 bit OS. If required I will download 64 Bit Drivers from Intel site.
I will give you feedback after I have done the same.
Regarding the hardware confusion - the PC for which I have referred to here is at my home and has different configurations. Therefore I repeat here - My system configurations are:-
1 Mother Board - Intel DG41RQ
2 Processor - Intel E5400
3 Two sticks of 1 GB RAM each.
4 OS Windows 7 64 Bit

The specs mentioned on the forum board while registering myself in " SevenForums" are for my Office PC.
I do hope this has cleared all the doubts.
Thanks for your advice. I will report back to you after some time.

Dear Mr Thefabe,
Your suggestion was right. I was using 32 bit driver on 64 bit platform. After your suggestion - I downloaded 64 Bit GMA Driver from Intel site and installed the same on my computer without any problem.
Thanks for your advice. It worked.
Thanks once again
