I posted this yesterday, but as this was my first post in the Windows 7 forum, I was instructed that I did not include all of the required information. I closed the old post and am re-posting with all of the required documentation.
=================================
Since mid February, all of my Windows update patches have continually failed with an error code of 80070308. I have never had an issue with any Windows Updates prior to mid February. I am running Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit. I have a newer Dell XPS8500 machine with 32 GB RAM and an Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4 GHZ. The following updates continually fail:

Cumulative Security Updated for IE 11 for Windows 7 x64 based systems (KB2909921)
Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2909210)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
for x64-based Systems (KB2898857)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for
x64-based Systems (KB2901112)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for
x64-based Systems (KB2911501)
Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2912390)
Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2916036)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2843630)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2919469)

I tried running the "Fix it" program recommended in the MS troubleshooting link, but that did not help. I have also tried installing with Norton 360 turned off (both virus protection and firewall), but to no avail.

In addition, per the info in this forum, I also ran the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and did the SFC scan, but still get the same 80070308 error code.
As instructed, I have attached both the CBS log file (it was too big to upload so I separated it into two files for upload) nd a word document with a screen capture of the error Windows Update provides. I have also copied the MGADiag information below. Please let me know if you need any other info to help me with this.
Any help that you can provide would be most welcome. Thanks in advance!

Bruce

Sorry - I seem to have missed this first time around :(

- so it appears to have corrected all the errors it found.

The story from the CheckSUR scan is not so good...
Here's the summary
Code:
Summary:
Seconds executed: 57
 Found 223 errors
CSI Missing Winning Component Key Total count: 223

The missing Component Keys are fairly critical - and it's not really possible to deal with that many manually.

You need to do a repair install, and work from there...
