Solved Cannot lock current drive. Windows cannot run disk checking...

Greetings all,

I need help with a toshiba laptop that just decided not boot into Windows. Here is what I faced and what I had done so far to get its system to load:

Using Hirens BootCD on USB stick, I opened CMD and typed "chkdsk /f and returned this:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.
Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected.

I powered off the laptop and took out the Hirens BootCD, inserted my USB Win7 and chose to run system startup repair and get this:

Any advice/tips will be highly appreciated.

Recommend you perform a more thorough test using the DOS version of SeaTools. Run short test first:

My apologies, I pasted the wrong link in relation to what I did as mentioned in my attachment. I will find it and paste it. I am saying this because I rebooted my toshiba laptop and guess what!? It booted into Windows but after about 5-10 minutes and on the desktop a message prompted me to backup my data because of an imminent disk failure, or something like it. I am now currently cutting all my personal data onto an external 2TB HDD.
